We have a dataset containing various features and statistics of games available on the Steam platform. We plan to create a data based recommendation engine for game developers to advise on game development timelines, hardware requirements, update frequencies, influencing and marketing, impactful gameplay features and player engagement dynamics. We hope to apply insights learnt from these analyses to other platforms (such as Google Play) and find meaningful concurrence.
