DESCRIPTION:Invitations to Industry (i2i)\n\nPlease join us for a special Invitations to Industry (i2i) with Julia Zheng (CEO) and Dr. Reynier Cruz Torres (Deep Learning Engineer) at Dyneti Technologies!\n\nJulia Zheng is the founder and CEO of Dyneti. Before Dyneti\, she was an early member of Uber's risk team\, where she built the first fraud prevention programs for Uber Eats.\n\nDr. Reynier Cruz Torres earned a PhD in Nuclear Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Physics from the University of Florida. He is also an alumnus of the Erdős Institute. After getting his PhD\, Rey was a postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Rey is currently working for Dyneti Technologies\, Inc. as a Deep Learning Engineer and Tech Lead.\n\nDyneti is a Y Combinator-backed startup (TechCrunch) making frictionless\, fraud-free payments available on every mobile device. Our core product is an SDK that helps apps stop fraud and boost conversion by taking a photo of a credit card. The SDK is powered by our proprietary deep learning/computer vision models that run entirely on device. We process hundreds of millions of card scans across 200+ countries\, serving clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to tech unicorns.
