Purpose

Invitations to Industry is a seminar series designed to connect industry leading companies with graduate students at universities in the Erdős Institute network.

Industry professionals are invited to speak about their organization and the types of career opportunities available to PhD and Master's students.

Presentations run for approximately one hour with time for questions and conversation afterwards. Through this program we will:

  • Help graduate students and faculty understand the current industry job market landscape
  • Increase understanding between academia and industry
  • Identify mutually beneficial opportunities for academics and their industry partners
  • Help establish pipelines for industry career placement of graduate students
